公路沿线广泛分布有昔格达地层,昔格达地层能否用作高速公路路基填料,国内没有先例,本论文就是结合导师的科研项目,在非典期间,现场长达5个月的工作,完成了从试验、现场施工工艺到路堤分层沉降监测等工作,是面对生产实际,认识昔格达地层的性质和其作为地基、路基和填料应用中面临的问题进行的研究。主要的研究内容有:对攀西地区地层岩性、构造等地质环境和昔格达地层的沉积历史过程作了系统的分析,研究表明西攀高速公路主要受安宁河断裂和昔格达断裂影响,通过地区地震活动频繁,差异沉降较大,对公路建设、安全运行和沿线构筑物设计有较大影响;由于昔格达地层在有些路段作为地基、有些作为路基,对其基本性质进行了研究:包括天然密度、含水量、塑液限、颗粒级配等指标的试验研究。研究成果表明:昔格达地层为湖相沉积,主要为砂岩和泥岩,它以细粒组为主,同时粘粒的存在,使其具有一定粘性。
